There was a thing in the paper from the Fire Brigade about how overheating wheatbags has caused loads of fires.
Thought I would remind folk to be careful out there cos we really don't want hordes of hunky firemen having to come and put our fires out do we? ................... Do we? ........ STOP IT Julie.....of COURSE we don't......do we?

I'll also have to make sure I leave all the lit candles unattended, just for good measure!!!!!

Seriously though- thanks for the warning. I wasn't even aware that you were supposed to put water in with them.

I don't always put water in with mine but 2 minutes is usually quite safe.
One thing the article did stress was not to reheat them until they had completely cooled and don't heat up then place under a duvet to heat the bed or they could overheat and burst into flames.
